If you’re a common reader of my weblog, you probably know that a couple years in the past I made the decision to return to school and finish my B.A. I am now one class away from completion, and in my earlier class I had to write a paper about any subject related to mass media. I decided to take the chance and write about how social media and digital pictures changed journal and newspaper media for the optimistic. The book’s photos, which are drawn primarily from the permanent collection of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, had been all taken in the United States.
- I’ve used this system before and there isn’t any acutely aware effort involved.
The content of pictures tends to outweigh their high quality when it comes to news value. On February 18, 2004, The New York Times printed on their front page a photograph of AT&T CEO John Zeglis which was taken with a digital camera cellphone. Content remains the most important factor of photojournalism, however the ability to extend deadlines with fast gathering and enhancing of pictures has brought vital adjustments.
